SBI Brainstorm It a market Niche Primer
Using SBI Brainstorm It is another approach to the problem of finding a market niche. In this case we think in terms of supply and demand. Demand is all the searches searchers input into search engines in one month. Supply is all the web sites that the search engines produce for these demanding searchers. The demand ratio would be Demand, or number of searches on a specific keyword, divided by its corresponding Supply, or number of web sites supplying info on the keywords (D/S). If the demand ratio was high, that is, high Demand relative to Supply, then it would be a good market to get involved with, since many people are searching on keywords that do not bring up a lot of web sites. This makes it easier for us to own the keywords since there is little competition. On the other hand, if only a few keyword searches are performed and tons of web sites are supplying information on those keywords, then this would not be a good market for us since competition is high. To shed more light on supply, the next time you get search results from a keyword search, check Google’s first line. It will tell you how many web sites are coded for your search term. Recently, I entered “Yoga” in Google’s search engine. That first line informed me that I was looking at the first 10 sites out of 63,100,000 total sites found.
Luckily, over the years, companies have built businesses by providing demand and supply data to people who need the information; namely niche marketers and eBook publishers. In an eBook written by Dr. Ralph Wilson, he found approximately 24 companies providing data and software in an attempt to help publishers identify profitable niches. Out of the 24 available, four had received the “Award of Merit” for Excellence in Niche Research Software. These four were: Keyword Discovery, Market Research Wizard 1.41, SBI Brainstorm It (by: Site built It) and Wordtracker Keywords. Out of these four, SBI Brainstorm It is the most updated, most used and least expensive. It is clearly the best of the best. The SBI Brainstorm It software uses the Supply and Demand ratio to find the best most profitable niches for eBook publishers.
The SBI Brainstorm It Method
SBI Brainstorm-It is a niche publishing tool that is included in the Sight Build It (SBI) software package at no extra charge. Since we are recommending you use Sight Build It to build your site later on, let’s see how SBI Brainstorm It can help us find a profitable niche.
First, SBI Brainstorm It is both a creativity booster which will enhance your brainstorming abilities and a publishing tool that will enable you to find a profitable niche. The program has two parts. The first part is called Brainstormer and is where you will get more creative market niche ideas. The second part is a master keyword list where you will analyze and manage your market niche as defined by keywords. Together you will use this publishing tool to create a list of keywords. In addition, you will choose three keywords related to your marketing niche. Whenever you enter a Seed Word you will get hundreds of keyword phrases known as secondary Keywords related to the primary or Seed Word.
Please remember, we are doing all this work to find a profitable niche. That is, a niche with keywords we can own so when a searcher searches on our keyword niche, our site is listed on the first page of Google’s search engine listing. This is why the keyword phrases or secondary keywords are so important. Because they enable you to get first page placement on Google quickly.
Most important, is the realization that site content is related to first page search engine result as well as links from other sites that link back to it. So, given the same keyword from two different sites, the site with the most relevant content and links is more likely to rank higher in the listings ahead of the site without as much content or as many links. A niche that is just large enough to produce adequate revenue and small enough so that we can win first page placement without spending a lot of time developing relevant content and links would be perfect. Such a niche would produce the required revenue and we could quickly and inexpensively win a spot on Google’s first page.
To accomplish this, Sbi Brainstorm It provides the necessary information by showing relative demand and supply as well as relative profitability. I say relative because the demand and supply numbers do not relate in any way to the Google keyword tool or Google’s traffic builder tool. So, according to SBI, we work with the SBI Brainstorm It publishing tool until we find Specific Keywords with enough demand depth so that as a group they follow these guidelines:
Demand greater then 2000, preferably greater then 3000, Plus two Specific Keywords with demand greater than 1000 And 10 or more keywords with demand over 100 and Supply less than 200,000 with the sweet spot between 30,000 and 70,000.
These guidelines have produced profitable niches for SBI users. This is the key to SBI Brainstorm It success. The tool relates market niche depth and profitability to the size of the site in terms of content and links. When we finish our analysis, we should know the size and profitability of our niche market. We should also know how much time and effort, in terms of web page content, it is going to take to own the keywords. This way, we can be productive by building out keyword concept sites that are just large enough to satisfy our monthly revenue requirements. Not too big. Not too small.
This is a great publishing tool for finding the perfect market niche. The tool combines all the important niche concepts such as size, competition, profitability, keyword depth and others so you can focus in on the best of the best.
However, I like to compare one niche to another. So, I developed a template that takes this information and places it in one spot so we can analyses it and compare one niche to another. See the next section on how to use this template with free tools available from Google.
